While quite a strong flavored honey, Kamahi is in fact a honey with very complex flavors. Originating from a native tree found in New Zealand's rugged forests, its blooms are an excellent source of honey. It is sweet yet not overwhelming in flavor which is perfect for cooking and baking. This honey can also be spread on toast, scones or crumpets or put in tea. Each jar is inscribed with a pollen count to ensure the honey is true to its label. The batch can be traced back to the apiary by batch number, and it is tested to verify there is no heat damage.
