Backgammon Set - Wooden (tavli)

Backgammon is one of the oldest known board games, as its history can be traced back some 5,000 years. It is a two-player game where each player has 15 pieces that move between 24 triangles according to the roll of two dice. The object of the game is to be first to move all fifteen checkers off the board. 

This traditional, folding set consists of a backgammon board on the inside and a chess/checkers board on the outside. Backgammon pieces and dice are included, however, chess pieces and pawns are not included. All game pieces are made of solid molded plastic. The latch closes and secures the board for easy storage or travel.
